St Cuthbert's is a lively church with a range of activities taking place. On this page, you will find information about our main activities - our services and small groups. If you want to find out more about the prayer life of our church, or to find out about the activities we have on offer for children, young people or for older people, please click on the links to the left of this page. Services The 10.30 service is an all-age service. The whole church family meets together for half an hour and then the children and young people go out to their separate meetings. There is a creche available during this service for babies and toddlers aged up to 3. This service contains the best of traditional and contemporary worship along with relevant Bible teaching. We celebrate communion once a month, usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month. The 6.30 service is a more informal service, using a range of worship and teaching styles, with extra space given for interaction and prayer. You are warmly welcomed to join us at both services. We also hold a communion service at 12.00 on Wednesday lunchtime. Small Groups There is also a reading group for all you bookworms - a friendly, informal group meeting to discuss a book a month, meeting at 8.00pm on the 2nd Monday of the month. For people who want to explore the meaning of life and find out about the Christian faith, we run the Alpha Course. If you want to learn more about Christianity, or if you want to get more involved in the church by joining a small group, email us on: enquiries@stcuthberts.org Older People Club 55+ As well as providing ministry and support to the older members of our church, the over 50s at St Cuthbert's are very active in the church - providing ministry and support to people of all ages. 'People in their prime' are encouraged to join in fully with the life and work of the church and many of our groups and activities would not run without the support of our older members. To find out more about Club 55+, visiting or home communion - or if you are a 'person in your prime' and want to know how you can get involved in the church, please contact Mike Newman on 0161 428 3983 or email: olderpeople@stcuthberts.org Men's Breakfast Men Behaving Godly In Stitches |
