Babies & toddlers
There is a creche for 0 - 3s during every Sunday morning service, meaning that parents can leave their child somewhere safe to play, so they can take part in the service.

During the week, a parent and toddler group meets on Tuesday mornings for all parents, carers and 0 - 3 year olds, offering fun and friendship and a place to chat and relax.

St Cuthbert's also has its own playgroup for preschoolers, which meets every weekday in the Old School.

Years 1 - 4
During the morning service, there is a Sunday School for all children aged from 3 to school year 4. All children stay in church for the first half hour of the morning service and then go out to their classes. Our aim is to create an environment that is educational and entertaining, making it fun for your children to learn about God.

On Thursday afternoons, from 3.30 - 5.00pm, there is an After School Club for all children in Years 1 - 4 which meets in the Old School. Here, children can join in with games and activities (football, crafts, Playstation, themed games etc). There is also a short teaching session to give the young people a chance to find out more about Jesus.

Years 5 - 6
For all children in school years 5 and 6, there is a group that meets during the Sunday morning service. All children stay in church for the first half hour of the morning service and then go out to their classes. For these young people, their small group times give them the chance to experience God's love for them in a way that is real, relevant and relaxed, it aims to make church on a Sunday morning a good place to be.

There is also a midweek club - All Stars - for children in Years 5 and 6 that meets on Wednesday evenings, from 6.30 - 8.00pm in the Old School. All Stars offers games, activities, crafts and drama, trips out and a place for young people to relax with their friends. For those who want to learn more about God, there is a chance to take part in a Bible class, looking at key issues about Christianity and what it means to them.

Years 7+
There is a group for young people aged 11+ that meets every Sunday during the morning service. All children and young people stay in church for the first half hour of the morning service and then go out to their classes. We try hard to make Church an ok place for teenagers to be and offer young people the chance to learn more about God, grow in faith and develop in spiritual maturity.

As well as Sunday mornings, there is also a group for young people aged 11+ that meets on Friday evenings between 7.30pm and 9.00pm in the Old School.

To find out more about any of these groups and how to get involved, please contact Mike Newman on 0161 428 3983 or email: youth@stcuthberts.org

In the summer holidays, there are several holiday camps that St Cuthbert's is involved in for young people aged from 9 - 19, that are organised by a Christian group called Youth for Christ. These range from activity holidays based in a boarding school in the Cheshire countryside, to sports holidays on the South coast. Ask any of our youth leaders about these holidays or look for the Youth for Christ website on the links page.
